The tapped through inner diameter is used in conjunction with a nut, and the raised flange is meant to be gripped by a wrench to aid in tightening torque. These washers are machined, not stamped. Available with square or round corners. Low Carbon Steel is hot dip galvanzied for maximum corrosion resistance. Made in the USA.
